19 of the Russian's 21 championships have been achieved on hard surfaces
A revitalized Medvedev won his initial trophy for nearly 30 months with a win over Corentin Moutet in the tournament final.
Medvedev, a former top-ranked player, has endured a challenging season, achieving just a single victory at the Grand Slams and suffering a meltdown at the New York tournament.
Medvedev's varied form on the ATP Tour - and difficulties with his serving in particular - led to him exiting of the elite rankings and finally parting ways with long-term coach Cervara.
Presently working with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, the tennis star has gradually advanced in the recent weeks - culminating in a tightly fought three-set triumph over opponent Moutet.
This marks Medvedev's initial title after the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard surface since spring of 2023.
Victory also means the Russian has won 21 championships at 21 distinct tournaments.
"It's the first time I have attended a tournament with my two daughters simultaneously, so to win a championship is particularly special," said tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This championship is in tribute of my child her name, because the initial championship I got when my first daughter her name was delivered was for her."
The athlete, the past champion, had been defeated in his last six finals, featuring in that event in the past months.
His defensive play style and recurring emotional displays on the tennis court had led commentators to wonder if his skill to play at the highest level was finished.
But the athlete has made changes in the last few weeks, attempting to advance forward and perform aggressively, backed up by an enhanced service.
He recovered from a break down in the initial set against the tricky Frenchman, taking 4 of the final five games to gain the advantage.
Both players exchanged breaks in the middle set before Moutet, striving for his initial tour championship, gained dominance to create a decider.
The opponent defended 4 early-game chances in a tight deciding set before the Russian broke to 15 to close out the victory.
Suitably, the winner earned the title with a point at the net, with Moutet incapable to control a return after over two and a half hours.
